Fat and Muscle

Most weeks I get to deal with people that are always asking me how do I turn fat into muscle.....well that is not that easy, actually impossible. I am not going to go into detail with you about this but just give you a better understanding of how your body uses the fat(stored energy) with the amino acids that you consume through your diet to rebuild the muscle. When you train you actually break down muscle into microscopic tears(but that is a story for a whole other day) and the fat that your body has can be used while training as energy to to increase the intensity while doing weight training to break down the muscle even more. After the training the body needs amino acids and enough carbohydrates(glycogen) to repair the muscle and build new muscle tissue. I just need to say and I will probably always say this, is that all of this (loosing fat and building muscle) can only be done if you really CONSISTENTLY follow a well planed diet. So yes fat can help with the forming of new muscle tissue but not turn into muscle!! hope this gave you a better insight into this!!

Stay strong, Temple Training.
