Motivations and Goals!
In short you have to understand or try to understand how we as humans do things and especially do things that needs effort and time.
We as humans are designed to naturally stay safe in our comfort zones and stay away from anything that might hurt or force us out of our comfort zones. The human mind and body is designed to survive and adapt and when you place yourself outside of that comfort zone your body and mind fights against you. When you want to lose weight(fat) there are a number of things that you can do to make this happen like cardiovascular training, weight training and a eating plan designed to help you lose weight. But all of these things pushes you outside of your comfort zone and your body and mind doesn't like this. You get tired, your muscles hurt, you get hungry, you start to crave food and it is just and uphill battle.
This is where you need to have a well planed and set motivation to push through these battles with yourself to reach your goal. To lose weight or to gain muscle weight is in itself not a big enough motivation for most people and you will need something bigger. This goal might be the most random thing for others but for you it is just what you need to get the job done. I know from experience that getting married for most women is a huge motivation and most of the time they reach their goal to lose weight.
Your motivation should be an event like a fitness competition, day, date and time, photo shoot, betting someone money or anything that you know will really motivate you and keep you motivated to reach your goal.
Do not start this hard and long journey without putting your motivations in place, believe me I have been this road many times before and even today I still do better and make it if I have my set goals/motivations in place.
