Exercise and Foooood
What does food and exercise have in common?.... a lot!! Unfortunately there are still people that in a way think that exercise alone can change you completely is such a way that you are going to look like those models you see on social media. What most of those muscular guys and sexy girls don't always show you is the amount of time and effort they give to their diet and eating routine. I always say to my clients...training is is the KEY and your diet is the KEY HOLE and both of them together opens the door.
When you train there are a lot of things happening in your body...some good and some bad if you don't give attention to it before and after training. One of the biggest things people are concerned about is building muscle. Muscle on its own is another big topic, but in short it gets that toned affect for the girls and that muscular look for the guys. I just want to clarify that when you train and especially do weight training you literally break to muscle down(micro tears). After training you need to start the healing(repair) process of the muscle and there is only one way of doing it..FOOD. In a way its very ironic because you are breaking your body down and helping it heal afterwards to be stronger next time to be more resistant to the weight training(breakdown process). When you get stronger, faster, more toned or bigger its your muscles that is responding to the repair process from the food you eat. The harder you train the more the breakdown process and the better you diet should be according to the goals you set out . If you want to change your body and make significant changes you need to focus the most on the food you consume.
I can go on for hours and hours about all the benefits food has for the guy or girl that wants to build muscle, lose weight or just stay healthy, but at the end of the day you first need to set your goals and eat FOOD in the right consistent way to manipulate your body to achieve those goals.
Remember exercise and food always go together.
Stay Strong, Temple Training.
