The Ultimate Exercise!

What is the ultimate workout? Sorry to bring you back down to basics but there is not really one exercise that is the ultimate workout.

Yes, there are exercises that I would recommend above others like when we all were locked in our homes when it was lock-down Level 5 and you only had a limited amount of exercise equipment. For example on leg days I recommended Squats and Lunges...you don't need machines and you can do it just with body weight. People sometimes make exercise complicated and start to try way out of the ordinary exercises. If you are bored with the normal basic movements I definitely understand that you want to try something new. But for hundreds of years back and up until today there are the basic exercises that always makes a good workout. A good or ultimate workout will always be different exercises mixed together and mixed again when your workout plan has to change. Your body adapts to its environment and quickly builds up a resistance against it. If you have never done squats your body will definitely respond great in the beginning by shaping and building bigger stronger legs muscles, but if you only do squats with the same weight week in and week out sooner or later the building/shaping process will stop. This is why you need to increase the weight or start adding other exercises like lunges and again your body is in a different environment and it needs to respond to the environment by building and shaping...

To conclude, there are the better exercises that you can always incorporate in your workout routine but don't get stuck with them. Be creative and mix it up and never let your body adapt and resist.
