Coffee and Water...

What does coffee and water have in common? If you are thinking you're mostly drinking coffee and water together you are definitely right but that is not really what this blog is about.

Most of us and I actually mean everyone I know drinks coffee on a daily basis.. and who doesn't enjoy a steaming cup of coffee on a cold winters morning? Coffee has the stimulant caffeine in it and that is one of the biggest reasons we like coffee so much. Caffeine as a stimulant that can help with weight loss and mental focus while training, just to name a few of its benefits.

If we think about it caffeine is something we can not really live without. When work gets hectic and we need that 10 cups of coffee or that energy drinks just to get through the day. But the thing is....when we consume that much stimulants we don't focus on water like we actually should. Its more common than you think that there are people out there that don't even drink a glass of water a day but they do drink a lot of coffee and stimulant based drinks. The down side of stimulants are that they act as a diuretic and speeds the natural water discharge process and before you know it you are dehydrated and the most of the important functions in your body are not working properly like your metabolism.

One of the biggest things women fear is cellulite and weight gain(fat) and they sometimes go to extreme measures to lose that cellulite and fat. One of the biggest things people overlook is water and how big of a role water and weight gain especially n women plays. The less water you have in your body the bigger are the chances you WILL NOT LOSE WEIGHT, GAIN WEIGHT AND THE CELLULITE WILL GET WORSE. In other words the more coffee and stimulated drinks the less the water and more overweight and cellulite. I have a rule of thump...for every cup of coffee you drink you must drink 1 glass of water or 2 cups of water.

Remember girls, don't make things to complicated just start with water first and you will quickly see the way your body changes and how much better you feel. Water is the easiest thing you can start with in achieving your weight loss goals.

Water is one of the most important liquids you can consume and your body will thank you everyday for it. If you want to change your body and lose weight, build muscle or just live healthy then the answer is simple....WATER, WATER AND MORE WATER.

Stay Strong, Temple Training.
